Whiskey Sour

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz. bourbon, rye or irish whiskey

  • 3/4 oz. lemon juice

  • 1/2 oz. simple syrup

  • 1 egg white

Directions

  • crack egg and collect egg whites

  • add ingredients to shaker

  • dry shake (no ice) to emulsify egg white

  • add ice and shake again vigorously

  • strain into chilled rocks glass

  • optionally garnish with eye dropper of bitters
